Much like the beautiful and colorful clothing and headgear of the Mohawk community, Mohawk laminate flooring combines fine styling, texture and colors with an exclusive installation system called DuraLoc®. You can choose either the DuraLoc glue-less floors or DuraLoc Plus with pre-glued grooves for superior plank locking.

DuraLoc Plus: Mohawk’s DuraLoc Plus flooring combines the strength and permanence of a glued laminate with the ease of installing a glue-less laminate floor. The tongue and grooves are pre-glued and the adhesion is activated by applying water along the tongue’s edge. DuraLoc Plus is what is known as a ‘tap-n-loc’ laminate construction, requiring a tapping block for installation.

DuraLoc: DuraLoc offers freedom from messy glues, so you can start using it immediately after it is installed, courtesy a tongue and groove glue-less locking system.

DuraLoc® Lift & Loc: DuraLoc Lift & Loc features a glue-less locking system in wide plank. Once again, you can avoid messy glues, and its sealed edges and CrystalShield finish with WaterGuard ensures long-lasting beauty. Additionally, DuraLoc Lift & Loc uses a snap together laminate system and does not require a tapping block during installation.

CrystalShield Finish: All Mohawk laminate flooring contains the CrystalShield Finish, which is abrasion and indentation-resistant and can endure high heels, cigarette burns and household chemicals. What’s more, the CrystalShield Finish is easy to clean and never needs waxing. All you do is wipe the dirt with a moist cloth, and for tougher stains use a nail polish remover.

Mohawk Country Cottage: This collection of laminate floorings is constructed with the DuraLoc Plus installation system. Each board measures 7 11/16” in width and is beveled on all four sides. The surface is textured, giving the floor the look and feel of real hardwood. Mohawk County Cottage can be installed on, above or below ground level in any room in the house, including bathrooms and kitchens. It comes with a 25-year performance warranty.

Mohawk Harpers Mill: The Harpers Mill collection is constructed with the DuraLoc Plus installation system. The surface is registered embossed, so its texture follows the natural outline of the wood grain, giving the floor the touch and elegance of genuine hardwood. Like the Mohawk Country Cottage collection, Mohawk Harpers Mill can be installed on, above or below ground level in any room, and once again bears a 25-year performance warranty. A value addition is Mohawk’s exclusive attached sound inhibitor, which reduces noise when walking on the floor.

Mohawk Heritage Collection: The Heritage collection is constructed with the Duraloc Plus installation system. Inevitably, you can install it in any room in the house, and it comes with a 20-year performance warranty. The collection is also available in a herringbone pattern.

Mohawk Paramount: Paramount has a 1/2” thick core, making it the best that Mohawk offers in terms of performance and durability. This product contains an attached acoustical backing, which reduces noise levels when walked on, making it sound more like authentic hardwood. The product is once again suitable for any room in the house, including bathrooms and kitchens, and comes with a 25-year performance warranty.

CARE & MAINTENANCE FOR MOHAWK LAMINATE FLOORING

Mohawk Laminate Flooring is extremely hygienic and easy to keep clean. All you need to do is follow these basic recommendations:

• Routine cleaning requires simple vacuuming, dusting with a clean, dry cloth, or a damp mop to prevent loose dirt or grit from scratching the finish
• Use non-staining walk-off mats at the entrance to all external doorways
• Use a damp mop to remove footmarks and stubborn dirt. Always be sure that your mop has been thoroughly wrung. Never wet mop, or use excessive amounts of water on your Mohawk laminate floor.
• Never use scouring substances, abrasive cleaners, paste waxes or floor polishes on your Mohawk laminate floor. Marks and stubborn stains can easily be removed with nail polish remover or other mild alcohol-based solvents
• Felt pads should be affixed to the base of all furniture legs and drip trays placed underneath potted plants. Movable furniture should be fitted with wide rubber rollers
• The use of “soap-free” cleaners on a regular basis is a great help in keeping your Mohawk laminate flooring looking beautiful for years
• Hardened glue left over after your Mohawk laminate flooring is installed can be removed with nail polish remover or special glue solvents
