If you are in favor of a formal, smart, and corporate looking home, choose designs that are created with stripes (horizontal or vertical), squares, or broken lines. However, if you like bright looking homes you can go for floral patterns. These patterns are excellent in creating high spirits and unifying the floor space. The pattern you choose for your room could reverse the acuity of your living in the same. Vertical stripes could make your room look longer while horizontal stripes could make the room look broader.

Triangles and puzzle shaped designs could impart a modern intellectual look to your floors. Finish your floor with satin polish if you want your room to look warm and soft. A semi gloss finish will impart a little more shine. Polish it with high gloss finish to cover up any imperfection on your floor.
